DHS Department of Choral Arts
The Duluth choirs have a long tradition of excellence in the state of Georgia and abroad. They have performed throughout metropolitan Atlanta, New York City, New York; Nashville, Tennessee; Disney World, Orlando, Florida; and The Grand Bahama Islands as well as six international concert tours throughout Europe. Each year the choirs participate in the Georgia Music Educator’s Association State Large Group Performance Evaluation where they consistently receive the top ratings of “Superior”. Duluth is also very well represented in the GMEA All-State Choirs, Honors Choruses and GHSA Music Literary events yearly.

DHS Friends of Choral Music
In an effort to reduce the cost of participation dues to students, DCBA has reinstated the optional Booster Patron system. If you would like to become a Patron “DHS Friend of Choral Music” you may do so by contacting a DCBA Officer or by getting a brochure at a Booster meeting or concert. This is not the same as “Fair Share” dues. This is an optional donation to provide additional funding to the program and opportunities for advanced seating to performances. The levels of Patrons are as follows:

  • Gold Patron – annual fee - ($50.00 or more) Includes early ticket purchases and reserved seating at Peach Jam. Gold Patrons also receive a static cling sticker and a DCBA polo shirt.
  • Silver Patron – annual fee - ($25.00-$49.00) Includes a static cling sticker and a chorus T-shirt..
