DHS Department of Choral Arts
The Duluth choirs have a long tradition of excellence in the state of Georgia and abroad. They have performed throughout metropolitan Atlanta, New York City, New York; Nashville, Tennessee; Disney World, Orlando, Florida; and The Grand Bahama Islands as well as six international concert tours throughout Europe. Each year the choirs participate in the Georgia Music Educator’s Association State Large Group Performance Evaluation where they consistently receive the top ratings of “Superior”. Duluth is also very well represented in the GMEA All-State Choirs, Honors Choruses and GHSA Music Literary events yearly.

This is the most important development within the chorus department in many years and we are excited about getting this off the ground. For the first time ever we have online student financial accounts and records! We ask that you or your child log on to the site no later than September 12th and enter all contact information like student and parent email, phone numbers, address etc… If your information is not updated by September 12th, you may not have an online account this year. Without an online account, you will not be able to debit for any chorus expenses. We have already debited $70 for dues and will debit an additional $15 for late fee dues paid after Labor Day. After dues are paid and/or fundraised, the account will be totally active and ready to use for any chorus-related expense. If your student does not have internet access, he/she may use the computers in the school library before or after school. To log on, go to the website and enter DuluthHSChoir under the Parent/Student login. At the next screen, please enter your DHS student ID# This will take you to your own page of the website. Next click on the student information tab and fill out all of the information there. Once this is done, you may check the financial records tab and see what your balance is. Accounts are updated once a month, so please allow 30 days for balances to be updated. If you have a problem with the account that you cannot resolve, please email our DCBA Treasurer. Please remember, the DCBA Treasurer has a full-time job and is a full time mom. Her time devoted to getting this website off the ground is totally volunteer and she may not be able to respond the same day.
